Gospel Channel – Background:
On November 8, 1991, God spoke to evangelist Erik Erikson to build a Christian TV station in Iceland.
Bro. Erikson applied for a TV license, secured the authority to broadcast Christian Television 24 hours a day, and went on the air July 28, 1992.
Gospel Channel has been visited by many preachers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and has also prepared several evangelistic crusades in Iceland.
Now, more than 80% of the population in Iceland can receive the local Christian TV signal of Gospel Channel through terrestrial transmitters, cable systems and IPTV.
